The Sherwin-Williams Company features another set of the most unique and classic aircraft paint schemes in its new 2022 Aerospace Coatings Calendar. This annual program recognizes the outstanding work of aircraft painters across the country that rely on Sherwin-Williams aerospace coatings in their MRO and OEM facilities. “This year was more competitive than ever with a 42% increase in submissions from paint shops that had never participated before,” says Julie Voisin, global marketing manager – Aerospace Market & Automotive Interiors for Sherwin-Williams. “We feel this is one of the most creative and inspiring collections of aircraft schemes and are thrilled to announce the winners of the 2022 Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings calendar contest.” The 2022 Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings Calendar features aircraft painted from the following companies and aircraft type: • ArtCraft Paint – Mooney M201 • C&L Aviation Group – Hawker 900 XP • Cirrus Aircraft – Cirrus 8000th Limited Edition SR-22 • Constant Aviation – Bombardier Challenger 601-3R • Corrigan Air Center – Cessna Citation CJ3 • Duncan Aviation – Piper PA44-1801T Turbo Seminole • First Class Aerospace – Eclipse 500 • Icon Aircraft – Icon A5 • Master Aircraft Services – 206 L4 and Pilatus PC-12 • Spectre Aeronautics LLC – Beechcraft V35 Bonanza • West Star Aviation – Hawker 900XP and Bombardier Global XRS The oversized wall calendar showcases Sherwin-Williams aerospace topcoats featured in designs that vary from single stage (monocoat) systems such as JetGlo, AcryGlo and JetGlo Express and basecoat-clearcoat systems such as SKYscapes and SKYscapes General Avia-tion. “This coming year’s calendar collection truly presents a complete gambit of ‘art in the sky’ and we are pleased to announce we will be adding a digital download option for the 2022 calendar,” added Voisin. “There is no doubt we are excited to honor all these beautiful aircraft – everything from an amphibious light-sport airplane to a limited-edition Cirrus to a stunning Bombardier Global.” The 2022 Aerospace Coatings Calendar is set to release in December 2021.
